Twin Spruce has an Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) after school program, which offers tutorial instruction in CORE classes (math, science, English, and social studies). This program is committed in helping students to achieve academic success by providing a lower student to teacher ratio.
ELO meets Monday through Thursday from 2:55-4:00 p.m. Students are to meet in the Library directly after the final bell where electronic check-in (attendance) will be taken. Late students will not be accepted. Bussing is provided for students needing transportation home.
Students are to bring necessary materials (book, pencils, assignments) with them. To ensure that completed assignments are turned in, ELO teachers gather student work each evening and return it to the assigning teachers.
There are qualified teachers in specific academic areas to provide the additional help needed in assisting students.
If you feel as though your child will benefit from this program and have further questions, please call Twin Spruce 682-3144.
