Title: Movement through time
Mediums: Inkjet print on canvas, mounted on black card
Dimensions: Three prints at 307 x 217 mm
My focus for this art piece was movement and movement through time. My focus was also on the dancer and how the dancer grew as time moved on. I took multiple photos of different dance moves to be able to show the greatest improvement for the dancer. Having the focus on the dancer and the growth they show communicates the idea of movement through time and time moving through us.
Title: Perceptions of empowering women
Mediums: fabric ink, fabric marker, cotton tee
Dimensions: Variable
The subject matter of my artwork is a shirt worn on a series of different people from different ages and genders to represent how a message can be perceived differently when it is worn on different people. The writing is in red bold text to make it stand out and be noticeable. The drawing is in blue to contrast against the red and the white. The smooth edges of the drawings also contrast slick straight lines of the text.

Title: Untitled
Mediums: Satin, Tulle, Cotton thread
Dimensions: variable
I have incorporated colours and symbols such as flowers, and the colour red into my design because to me flowers and butterflies are symbolic of the growth a beauty of femininity, and red is seen to be a very androgynous colour, able to be worn by both males and females without any significant symbolisation unlike blue and pink which are seen are gendered colours.

Title: Untitled
Mediums: Inkjet print.
Dimensions: 840 x 1188mm
Through my artwork my focus was to communicate a more realistic representation of femininity. Through the media the female body is constantly questioned and I wanted to create a piece that celebrated the diversity of femininity throughout cultures as well as women as a whole. By showcasing a traditional view of a woman displaying feminine qualities alongside a non traditional concept I aimed to make the audience question society's one dimensional view.
Title: Through the window
Mediums: Soft pastel and inkjet print on paper
Dimensions: 536 x 510mm
This artwork explores the idea of balance within modern society. The photos of flora is representational of nature and the fire symbolises destruction, while the grayscale background illustrates modern society with the lack of colour. The black borders reflect a window that can be looked into to see the balance separated from society.
Title: Red Riding Hood (love, power and anger)
Medium: Acrylic, watercolour, paper, watercolour paper, fine-liner
Dimensions:
My theme for this year has been around the colour ‘Red’ as well as it’s accompanying emotions and aesthetics. I showed this theme through a little red riding hood subject matter that posed to show the different emotions I was using. Little Red Riding Hood was a large subject matter focus during my exploration, used not just for the red cloak parallels to my theme but for the given emotions that can be taken and related to the theme as well.
In my year 12 folio for this year i would like to explore the themes around motorsport and automotive, i would like to identify and highlight different themes around my work. I will investigate Sean bull, a motorsport graphic designer. His work inspires mine in a range of aspects. Mostly as I would like to do what he does his work. I would like to portray different feelings and emotions within my work, appealing to different people depending on what it is, by doing motorsport and automotive it allows me to branch into a more open area focusing both on normal cars and into racing as well.
Title: Untitled
Mediums: Acrylic and Charcoal on canvas
My paintings express the idea that nature is beautiful and worth looking at. Nature can be shown in different ways, it's just up to the viewer to decide if they like it or not. I would like them to look at my paintings and say “Looks good, makes nature look more beautiful/appealing”
Title: Destruction of Nature
Mediums: Acrylic paint on wood
Dimensions: 550 x 400mm
My final artwork is based around the theme of nature and more specifically the destruction of nature and the impact that it has on animals. My theme focuses on modern day issues such as the bushfires which devastated Australia.
Title: Consequences
Mediums: Gesso, spray paint, acrylic paint and posca pen on wood
Dimensions: 3 painting at 800 x 200 mm
In this piece I initially wanted to create a ‘playful’ and ‘joyful’ feeling at first glance, then my aim was to create a saddened and guilty feeling in the audience as they recognise the pollutants in this piece.
The skateboard decks that I painted these whales on echo the shapes of whales as they are curvy, which contribute to the soft simple feel.
The way a person chooses to express themselves stems from their own personal experiences, perceptions and opinions on themselves and society. The fascinating change in youth culture from the baby boomer generation through to generation z. Within my home, I am exposed to three different generations, which allows me to learn about a wide change of views. During my studio time, I'd like to explore a range of topics that branch from youth culture that being, music, fashion, politics and upbringing, and how it has changed within the world.

Title: The Zodiac
Mediums: Inkjet print, frame and broken glass
Dimensions: 12 prints at 200 x 250mm
The whole idea of the zodiac I interpreted as a stereotype, the expected ideas associated with signs, horoscopes and compatibility with others seems to categorise a person telling them how they should live. So overall I depicted this to be something that is restricting and damaging, making each sign feel trapped and alone. Using this I wanted to express the nature of human stereotypes through showing the public how their depiction of someone may make a person feel.
Title: I’m You
Mediums: Inkjet print on Matte photo paper on black card stock
Dimensions: a. 420 x 594mm, b. 297 x 420mm, c. 420 x 594 x 297mm, d. 420 x 594 x 297mm
My artwork explores the ideas of escaping reality and the connection that people can develop towards a story and its characters. In my proposal, I said, “My focus and subject matter throughout the project will be based on People and fictional characters.” I decided to do only 4 cells for my final artwork to represent a single comic book page in a climactic/shock scene. This is supposed to give the viewer of incompleteness or create interest in what has to lead up to this part in the story and what might happen after this scene.
Title: Wedge March
Medium: video
Dimensions: Variable
The main focal point of my artwork was to create a warm and relaxed environment that pulled you in and made you take a deep breath. It's a weird thing to explain, I just wanted the viewer to feel at ease and calm when they are watching my film. The subject matter of my artwork was the calm and ever-changing emotions that surfing can make you feel and I tried to portray that feeling through a visual interpretation.
Title: Philophobia
Materials: Fake blood, watercolour, fake flowers, butterfly stickers, non-toxic glue. Inkjet print.
The theme of depicting phobias through special effects makeup was heavily inspired by other artists such as Glam and Gore and Shawn Coss. Both artists are seen to have horrific or gruesome works of art, as they involve blood or fears itself. Combining the two artists methods into one, made up the subject matter that is SFX phobias. Philophobia, the fear of love, or of falling in love, was the main focus of the chosen artwork.
Title: Untitled
Mediums: Inkjet print, acrylic paint
The Subject matter which I chose to focus on in my final artworks is the soul represented by a flower. Positioned in the center of the chest, a flower is present in representation of the human soul of each of my sitters. Each flower is different for each person, as the soul if different for every person on Earth. As well as this the intention is to create emphasis on the beauty of the soul and how it can be likened to the beauty of a flower.
Title: Pillars
Mediums: Tone tanned paper, alcohol markers, pencils, spray paint and muli-liners
Dimensions:
The focus of my work in Unit 3 was the exploration of surrealistic animals and the mixing of fantasy with reality. Particularly I focused on animals and mixing specific elements into the appearance of the animal, which helps to reflect the attribute the animal has. This has then led me to explore the idea of wolves with elements tied to them.

Title: Requiem for a lost love
Mediums: Pencil and charcoal on paper
Emotions and romanticism are what I explored in this piece. Both scenically and in the idea of romance, I tried to capture the scene of two lovers by the water, with the moon being in the perfect position to reflect in the water making everything dark while having the reflection be bright.

Title: Elements of pressure
Mediums: Acrylic Paint with an array of materials and rubbish on canvas
Dimensions: 1000 x 650 mm
Pressure is a continuous physical force exerted on or against an object by something in contact with it. Throughout the year I have used conceptual paths as well as using physical concepts to explore pressure. Pressure can be a really damaging feeling and can make people feel and do things that are harmful to themselves or others. I want the audience to feel challenged and confronted when looking at the final product to hopefully start the conversation of how pressure may feel, in an individual.

Title: Truth
Mediums: Inkjet print on canvas
Dimensions: three prints at 297 x 240 mm
As an honest person, I understand that telling the truth can be difficult and that some people hide the truth. In my images, I wanted to express truth in a couple of different ways. In one way, where the subject matter is intentionally hiding the truth out of fear, and in another way where the subject matter is not hiding the truth however their evidence/proof cannot be seen.
Title: Escaped the beauty
Mediums: Inkjet print on canvas
Dimensions: two prints at 16.5 x 23.4 in.
The aesthetic qualities in these images help communicate the idea of how people can be ignorant, and overlook the beauty of things around them, in this case, Sirawit choosing to go on in phone, he concentrated on the screen rather than appreciating the nature around him, this reveal his nature behaviour.
