Hi, my name is Mrs. Schmidt! I am a Carmel native and a graduate of Mohawk Trails, Clay Middle School and Carmel High School. I graduated from Hanover College with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Indiana Wesleyan University with a Master's in Education.

This is my 21st year in the Carmel Clay School District and my 17th year at College Wood, having previously taught at Prairie Trace and Forest Dale Elementary.

I enjoy traveling, reading, spending time with my husband, friends and family. I love to see new places and try new things. I have a niece and nephew whom I love to spend time with! I am a huge football fan and love cheering on my favorite teams, The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Indianapolis Colts! I look forward to having you in my class!
