Founded in 2023 at the University of Brasilia Research Center on Law and Regulation, GEREG hosts its activities at the University of Brasilia School of Law. GEREG’s main goal is to discuss topics on ............... To that end, GEREG brings together professors, students, professionals and regulators, in order to foster the interchange of experiences and the interplay of theory and practice. Building bridges between academics and practioners is of pivotal importance for GEREG to provide consistent inputs aimed at improving the understanding of the regulatory opportunities, positive impacts and modeling in Brazil. GEREG’s activities include conferences, researches, training and workshops, among others.
GRUPO DE ESTUDOS EM TEORIA DA REGULAÇÃO DA UNB
O Grupo de Estudos em Teoria da Regulação da Universidade de Brasília (GEREG/UnB) é um grupo de pesquisa integrante do Núcleo de Direito Setorial e Regulatório da Faculdade de Direito da UnB. O GEREG tem por objetivo promover a discussão de temas concretos e contemporâneos pertinentes à teoria regulação. A fim de propiciar o intercâmbio de diferentes experiências e visões, bem como a articulação entre teoria e prática, o grupo é integrado por professores, estudantes, profissionais do mercado e agentes públicos com atuação na área. A partir da aproximação entre academia e mercado, e da adoção de abordagens interdisciplinares, o GEREG busca contribuir de forma consistente e propositiva para o aprimoramento de leis, regulamentos e práticas regulatórias. Nesse contexto, a atuação do GEREG compreende, entre outras iniciativas, a realização de seminários, estudos, pesquisas e treinamentos sobre temas de interesse do setor pesquisado.
