Mission Statement

At Corrigan-Camden ISD it is our mission to provide a comprehensive school counseling program for all students. As a counselor, I work to meet the emotional, social, and academic needs of all of our students at Corrigan-Camden High School.

Counselor Philosophy

As a professional school counselor I believe that all students can achieve to their highest ability if given the proper supports and and opportunities. With so many factors impacting a student's ability to learn, each should be considered and used to create tools and access for students to achieve success. School is a place of learning and growing and students should feel that school is a safe place to learn and complete this growth as not only a student but as a future adult in society.

I am a 2011 Corrigan-Camden graduate. After high school I attended Sam Houston State University where I received my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. After college I was given the opportunity to return home and become a Bulldog again. After a couple of years in the classroom, I decided to continue my education and gain a Masters degree in School Counseling. This my eighth year in education. I coached and taught my first four years and continue to Coach along with being the High School Counselor.

November 19, 2016 I married my wonderful husband, Zach. June 27, 2018 I was given my favorite title, Mom by the most beautiful little girl, Josey. November 30, 2021 I was blessed with another beautiful baby girl, Tatum. I am forever thankful for these three, they put up with my crazy work schedule and love me unconditionally.
