Wonders is a set of textbooks used by American students to learn their mother tongue in school. It retains the original essence of mother tongue education. Wonders emphasizes that the three core qualities of critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical ability can be better in the textbook. Many elementary schools in the United States use Wonders as their native language teaching materials. Our school's daily English courses for grades 1-6 use the materials in Wonders textbooks. This English reading/writing camp will teach children reading skills and improve their writing skills. The teacher will raise students' thinking through questions and improve children's participation through quizzes and speeches.

The English writing training camp is a reserved project of the winter camp. Our school has held many writing training camps. In response to the writing requirements of different ages, the teacher will guide students to practise writing in various styles, such as stories, letters, poems and essays (Essay) in the 9-day course.

OSSLT is the abbreviation of the Ontario High School English Literacy Test. Students can take this test after completing the 9th-grade course. Passing the test is a requirement that students need to graduate in Ontario. The test is generally held at the end of March each year. The purpose of this test is to test the English reading and writing levels of 10th-grade students. It is one of the conditions for high school students to obtain an Ontario diploma. In the 9-day exam intensive camp, Ms. Yasmin will teach English reading skills, grammar, vocabulary and explain the key points of news writing and essay writing.

William Shakespeare, a great British writer, compiles the most delicate English literature and the most complex. In order to lead the 11th and 12th-grade students to understand the complexities in Shakespeare's writing, teacher Yasmin, who has more than 20 years of English teaching experience, specially set up a Shakespeare Reading Appreciation Camp during the winter camp. In this 9-day course, Teacher Ms. Yasmin will take Shakespeare's famous book "Hamlet" as an example, introduce the main characters, the interpretation of the monologue, the profound interpretation between the lines, etc., so that students can have a good understanding of the work. A deeper understanding can also be helpful to the study of Grade 12 English.
