The Care Cabinet is a program that was started this year to provide simple solutions to the immediate needs of staff and students experiencing hardship or mishaps during the school day or in their home lives. This resource is available to all students on campus, and a satellite care cabinet is set up for OCS. Items included in the care cabinet include: 

• Dental Care items: tooth brush, tooth paste, mouth wash, floss and flossers

• Orthodontia care: specialized floss and toothbrush, dental wax, pick brushes, retainer cases

• Body hygiene: Body cleansing wipes, deodorant (stick and wipes,) Safety razors and shaving cream

• Feminine products: Pads (multiple types,) tampons (multiple strengths,) overnight kits with tops sheet), feminine wipes

• Contact solution, contact cases

• Tissue Packs, honey drops, peppermints

• ChapStick/Lip Balm

• Moisturizer

• Hair Care: Dry shampoo, brushes, combs, hair ties and clips

• Clothing: Sweatpants, t-shirts, socks, underwear, bras, sweatshirt, hats and gloves

• Clothing Care: Stain remover, sink laundry soap packets, febreze/wrinkle releaser

*We also have a modest selection of coats and bookbags stored in a separate location in case of need.

• Breakfast Items: Cereal (Cheerios*), Whole Milk, Carnation Instant Breakfast, Oatmeal*, cereal fruit bars, pop-tarts, crepes

• Fruit: Freeze dried apples*, freeze dried strawberries*, applesauce*, peach cups*, mandarin orange cups*, whole fruit bars*, raisins*

• Lunch Items: Ramen, Mac and Cheese, Fried Rice Bowls*,  Tomato soup and cracker kits, Chicken Salad kits, Chef Boyardee pasta cups

• Snack items: Protein bars*, granola bars, peanut butter crackers, Cheese crackers with peanut butter, Made Good granola bites*, jerky sticks* almonds*

• Drinks: cranberry juice*, apple juice*, bottled water*

• School Supplies: pencils, pens, glue sticks, folders, paper

The following Items are in a locked, staff access drawer in the cabinet: 

• Glasses repair kit: Small tools and a full complement of screws, washers, and replacement parts. 

• Sewing Kit and Safety Pins

• Extendable magnet tool, multi tool

• First Aid Items: Bandaids (in spectrum of skin tones), blister pads, instant cold packs, nausea bags, emergency ring removal tool
