Welcome! My name is Lauren Thiessen and I teach Middle School Theater here at Corpus Christi! I feel truly blessed to be able to teach a subject area that I absolutely love, at a school that I absolutely love! I attended Catholic Schools from preschool through high school, and also grad school. I graduated from Park University with a BA in Applied Music-Piano Performance, and from Avila University with a MA in Education: Teaching & Learning. Theater keeps me busy, whether it's directing, music/vocal direction, acting, accompanying, or being a supportive audience member! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, concerts, tennis, friends, traveling, and hanging out with my husband Sam, and our two daughters (both of whom attend Corpus Christi), Evie (7th grade) and Kinley (5nd grade).
