Hello! I’m Kasi Brown, and I’m excited to join the Corpus Christi community as your new school counselor! I bring 18 years of experience in education, working with students across a variety of grade levels as both a classroom teacher and school administrator. I hold degrees in both education, as well as a degree in Psychology, and I’m excited to bring those experiences together in this new role.

My goal is to be a supportive and trusted resource for our students and families. I’m here to help students navigate social and emotional needs, friendships, problem-solving, school challenges, and all the ups and downs that come with growing up. I also look forward to partnering with families to help our students feel happy, confident, supported, and successful at school.

I serve Corpus Christi part-time and am typically at school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.  When I am not at school, you can find me with my husband, Jake, and our two rescue pups, Perri and Birdie.  We enjoy golfing, traveling, and attending various events around Lawrence, especially KU Football and Basketball games.
