Curriculum planning:

1.     S1 – S3: the teaching curricula are school-based

2.    S2 – S3: Social Science Cross-curriculum PBL (Hist, Geog, SEBS) 

3.    S4 – S6 HKDSE History Exam Syllabus 

(No changes on the curriculum, but duration of Paper 1 in 2024 DSE resumes to 2 hours.  Students are required to answer four DBQs.)

   3. Junior form students are required to join History e-reading program organized by EDB and HKU.  Students are encouraged to read articles about history.

Activities in 2023-2024

Germany History and Culture Tour 德國歷史及文化之旅

     20 senior form History students and 2 teachers explored rich heritage and development in German cites, Berlin and Munich in 10-day tour, e.g. Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Wall and Parliament, Civilian Air raid shelter and Dachau Concentration camp, old city of Munich and BMW Welt., etc.  We learned German history with excitement and appreciated architecture, traditions and culture of Germany.  We tasted cuisine from Germany, Russia, Italy, Ukraine and Georgia. Berlin and Munich offer us glimpses into imperial grandeur, impacts of the Second World War to Germany, and modern vibrancy of Germans.

Guided tour to Mount Davis & Jubilee Artillery Batteries 摩星嶺及銀禧砲台導賞團 

     It is organized by History Society and Geography Society. We visit Mount Davis Fort, Fortress and Battery Plotting rooms and barracks. There are two reenactors who act as soldiers and walk through footprint of soldiers with us.
