◍ Speech Abstract:
Challenges and more challenges:
The Taiwan – Reyhanlı Centre for World Citizens (2016 – )
The Taiwan – Reyhanlı Centre for World Citizens (hereinafter referred to as the Center) is a refugee center cooperatively established by Taiwan – with a generous donation of USD400, 000 – and Turkey’s Reyhanlı municipality. Unlike other refugee centers, the Center is the first humanitarian center that serves citizens of both Syria and Turkey simultaneously. The Center aims to promote the integration and tolerance of two races and cultures. It also facilitates the standards, equality and sustainability of local life, so that all local citizens will become a world citizen. This report reviews all difficulties, challenges and risks suffered by the design and management teams over the last 5 years. This will force the team to, during the planning, design, supervision, management and other processes make a series of extreme responses and move the humanitarian mission forward.
(The Taiwan – Reyhanlı Centre for World Citizens ),是在台灣政府慷慨捐助40萬美金之下,與土耳其雷伊漢勒市政府共同合作下所建立的難民中心。
