Friends

A little bit about me: This will be my 26th year of teaching! I have taught every grade from Kindergarten to Eighth grade. This is my 8th year teaching First Grade, and my 7th year at Greenbrier Elementary. I am a Certified Reading Specialist, and hold Gifted and Special Education endorsements. I live with my family right here in Riverwood. My husband is retired from Southern Nuclear Company after 42 years, and I am so proud of him! My son is in his final year at Georgia Southern University. He is majoring in Mechanical Engineering. My daughter graduated high school this year and will begin at Augusta Tech. We have a crazy rescue dog, Midnight. He is a black lab/walker hound mix. I love trying new recipes, working in my flower beds, crafting, traveling, going to the beach, working out at the gym, and reading! We recently bought a camper so we are enjoying that as well. Teaching is my mission - my calling. It is in my soul. When I'm not teaching, I'm thinking about teaching! Working with children is the BEST part of my job and makes everything else worthwhile.
