About Me

My name is Sarah Velez, and I am so thrilled to be your child’s teacher this school year. We have a fun year ahead of us and I cannot wait to see them grow as learners. I live in Evans with my husband, Christopher, and our two pets. Lucy, our Chocolate Lab, and Mango, our Leopard Gecko! When I’m not busy, you’ll usually find me traveling, outdoors, or with a good book. I’m a huge fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Crimson Tide. 

Fun fact: I’m a proud Lewiston alumna!

Education

I earned my Bachelor of Social Work degree from Augusta University. I later returned to complete my Master of Arts in Teaching at the same institution.
