About Me:
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! My name is Torey Dickinson and this will be my 13th year teaching special education in the public school system and my 3rd year teaching at Brookwood Elementary.
I was born and raised in Michigan. I graduated from Michigan State University in 2013 with my Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. I graduated from Oakland University in 2017 with my Master's degree in Special Education. My husband and I have a dog named Striker that we adore and a daughter who will be 1 year old in October!
I enjoy reading, going for walks, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. Some of our favorite places to visit are the mountains in Colorado, our cottage on a lake in Michigan and being by the ocean. I am excited to work with you and your child to have a successful school year!
