Welcome!

Hello! My name is Jessica Childs! I am so excited to be teaching in 2nd grade this year! This is my first year teaching a classroom, but my 4th year as an educator.  I graduated with my bachelor's degree from WGU and am currently getting my master's degree in curriculum and instruction! I have fallen in love with teaching and can't wait to meet your little students! I have 2 kids of my own. Rowan will be in first grade this year, and my daughter Willow will start PreK next year! Some hobbies of mine are reading, spending time with my family, playing video games, and hanging out with friends! I love to drink Diet coke and Caramel iced lattes from Dunkin. Crunchy Cheetos or nacho cheese Doritos, and recently red velvet cake cookies by chips ahoy are my favorite snacks. Cool fact, I went to BWE all through my childhood!
