I am ecstatic that my 8th year of teaching will be at Lakeside High School. I  am from Georgia, but this is only my second year of living in the Augusta Area. I graduated with a B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in Marine Science. I attended a course at Savannah State for Marine Science before starting a brief career with the Department of Natural Resources - Coastal Resources Division (fisheries research). 

I decided to go back to school to get my masters in teaching from Armstrong State University. I started teaching in Chatham County as a high school science teacher. And now, I am thrilled to be teaching High School Biology at Lakeside!
