Class of 2019 Important Information

Participation in Senior Week is a privilege afforded to students in good standing as a reward for their hard work throughout their high school career. It is a time of celebration and bonding and for many, a chance to enjoy some down time with their friends. In order for this opportunity to be given, students must meet certain criteria for participation. This document contains information for all students to be aware early on of what those expectations are.

Students wishing to participate:

-must have the minimum number of credits to be considered a senior.

-must not have served more than 10 days of ISS/OSS for the school year.

-must not be in ISS the week of senior week.

-must have less than 10 unexcused absences from school (this particular criteria is also a requirement to be eligible to attend the prom)

-must not need more than 3 classes in summer school to graduate. This will be determined at the end of the 3rd nine weeks of school.

-must not owe books, online fees, cafeteria fees or media center fines

Students who are dual enrolled will participate in Senior Week if they so choose. They will have their own team, and Mrs. Sprouse will be their faculty sponsor. She will meet with those dual enrolled students to help them with the details of forming this team. If you are interested and want to get a head start, feel free to contact Mrs. Sprouse through email.

Never regret, never forget

All the years we were young

Times of sharing

Never be sad, smile and be glad

Sing of growing and learning and caring

Alma mater

Where we bring to life our dreams

Of the future beginning

With the world all on one team

With our minds and our bodies

We will face the world with pride

As we sing of our years

At Lakeside
