Focus Paragraph
Example Focus Paragraph:
For my senior project, I am researching the benefits of beauty pageants. More specifically, I am exploring how girls gain confidence, scholarship opportunities, and personal development by competing in pageants. I am researching in this field because I am interested in learning more about event planning. By planning a pageant, I will be challenging myself and gaining new experiences. My project and paper will demonstrate that the negative connotations normally associated with youth pageants are inaccurate because pageants can be a wonderful experience for both children and young adults.
What you must include in your own:
1. Your topic.
2. What are you exploring in your research paper -- THIS MUST BE ARGUMENTATIVE AND CONTROVERSIAL
