About Me
Welcome to my class! I am entering my 24th year of teaching I strive to reach all learners and I love incorporating technology into our classroom whenever I can. I have a Specialist in Education in General Curriculum and Instruction, along with my gifted endorsement, ESOL endorsement, Math Endorsement and Google 1 certification. I am honored to have been named Teacher of the Year for the 2015-2016 school year, making it to the top five! I was also nominated and received for the Golden Apple award in the 2017-2018 school year by one of my students! It was such a great honor!
When I am not at school I enjoy all kinds of arts and crafts, reading, shopping, and spending time with my husband Chris, son Ryan, family and friends. My son Ryan enlisted in the Navy and is currently working through his training. I love being outdoors, especially when I can be near water-the pool, ocean or lake will do! I like setting goals and trying new things!

Meet our PAra
This is Mrs. Jones fourth year at BRE as a para. This is our third year working together. She is a great asset to our classroom and helps in so many ways! She loves working with the students! She is also involved with our PTO.
When she is not at school she spends time with her family, Nathan, Nathaniel and Matthew. She has one son here at Blue Ridge and one at Lakeside High School. Mrs. Jones loves animals!
Meet our Student Teacher
We are fortunate to have a student teacher in our classroom this year! Mrs. Ledbetter will be in our class learning and teaching this year. She will be working with our class as she works toward finishing her teaching degree. We look forward to her joining us and working with us this year!
