Welcome to Dr. Page's Science Class!
Dr. Page is a retired military officer, married with one child and four grandchildren.
She loves anything and everything outdoors; especially the beach. During Dr. Page's free time she enjoys fishing, gardening, and swimming.
This will be an exciting, fun, and challenging year as your child develops into a junior scientist and a problem solver. Your son or daughter will have many opportunities for learning, growth, and achievement. My goal is for them to become critical thinkers, and problem-solvers capable of making a positive impact on others and their community.
A variety of hands-on activities and scientific inquiry lessons will be provided to ensure your child is exposed to differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of each student.
Students will also be involved in rigorous STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering Art, and Math) activities to spark student creativity and help them become their own problem-solvers as junior scientists.
1st nine weeks: Inside the Earth, Rocks, and Minerals
2nd nine weeks: Energy, Weathering, and Erosion
3rd nine weeks: Water, Weather, and Climate
4th nine weeks: Earth, Sun, Moon, and Astronomy. Universe, Solar System, and Enrichment.
