Welcome to Kindergarten!

Hi! My name is Skylar Cowart and I will be your child's Kindergarten teacher! I am so excited to get to know you and your child throughout the year. Our year will be filled with tons of fun, laughter, and learning!

 I am a graduate of Georgia Southern University where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently a student, again, as I am working on my Master's degree at Augusta University. This will be my fourth year as a kindergarten teacher at MES! 

My husband and I currently live in Augusta, Georgia. I love The Master's, Amazon, and all things pink! In my free time, you will find me spending time with my family, shopping, or at the lake!

In my class, I will not only be teaching your child academics, but also to be kind and to always try their best! You can expect that we will work hard, learn a lot, and always have fun! I can't wait to meet you all and I look forward to a GREAT year!
