Hometown: I consider Shreveport, LA my hometown. Currently, my family and I reside in Grovetown, GA.  

College:  

• Augusta University- Master of Arts and Teaching with a concentration in Middle Grades Math and Science

• University of Louisiana at Monroe, B.S. Atmospheric Sciences 

Activities outside of school: I love to travel. Every year my goal is to visit a new city, town, or country that I have never been to. I love to be outside: gardening, hiking, playing/coaching soccer, lake/beach days, snorkeling, and kayaking. 

Family:  I have been married to my childhood sweetheart (Ethan) for nine years. We have three children: Savannah and Conner, & Maggie.  We have several fur babies which include: goats, dogs, cats, and a rabbit. 

My favorite things:

• Restaurant: Mexican food, Chicken Salad Chick

• Sports: Saints/GA football, soccer

• Handmade items: During December I display a tree, in my classroom, of handmade ornaments from past students.

• Gardening: Sanderlins, Lowes/Home Depot are my go-to shopping locations. I love a house project!
