About us

Our main focus is the study of the dynamics of biological systems combing experimental, theoretical and computational tools. Our main interests are:

• Nonlinear regulation in pathways and its impact on disease treatment

• Regulation of stem cell differentiation during developmental processes

• Stochasticity and effect of perturbations in gene expression

We teach and coordinate several subjects at the UAM Master of Physics of Condensed Matter and Biological Systems and the UAM Master of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. We also teach several disciplines at the undergraduate program in Physics at UAM.
