TEMA:
Las religiones del mundo en la época contemporánea.
This video is just for reference: you can research about any religion related with any contemporary issue. In this case, this video contains the history of Christianity until today, mentioning some of the issues that Christian religion has today.
The subjects are going to be explored through an individual research project that reflects an autonomous and creative work.
You have the chance to prove yourself, not only regarding knowledge but specially regarding how you apply your knowledge in the real world.
For this to happen, you need to check the following info. Try to think which kind of project suits best for your own interests and talents. Remember that the general topic of this term is RELIGIONS OF THE WORLD IN THE CURRENT ERA.
Try to think what kinds of social or religious phenomena are current and how can they be applied to the current status of the main religions of the world. You can emphazise on one religion or several, depending on your own capacities and the time you have to spend in research and creative work.
To begin creating your project:
1. The first thing you should do is choose a topic of interest related to world religions in the present day.
2. Once you have a topic in mind (a specific topic, easy to research and/or represent through a creative work), you should consider what type of project best suits your topic, taking into account not only the thematic content but especially your creative talents:
Written projects: these can be argumentative essays or works of fiction (poems, novels, short stories, etc.)
Audiovisual projects: short videos, original or modified music, musical commentary, or editing of reels or short films, etc.
Visual arts projects: sculpture, painting, illustration, models, among others.
3. Next, write in your notebook the overall objective of your work (what does your work aim to do, in a concrete and specific way, identifying the main verb that defines the necessary actions to be carried out to answer the question or address the specific topic) and the justification (answering why the question, problem, or specific topic of your project is necessary or interesting).
4. Define the methodology: outline the step-by-step process you used to carry out your project (once you finish it).
5. Provide a complete list of all the bibliographic or media references you used to carry out the project (once finished).
Good luck!
