Goal: Analiza y comprende los acontecimientos, personajes y temas presentes en los capítulos III al VII de The Hunchback of Notre Dame, demostrando habilidades de interpretación, síntesis y organización de la información mediante actividades de lectura, líneas de tiempo, diagramas, opiniones argumentadas y evaluaciones de comprensión lectora.

Activities

1. Chapter Summaries

• Write an 8–10 line summary for each chapter (Chapters I–VII).

• Identify the main characters and the most important events.

2. Timeline of Events

• Create a timeline with at least 10 key events from the chapters studied.

• Include pictures or drawings to represent each event.

3. Character Analysis

• Create a character profile for three main characters.

• Include physical characteristics, personality traits, important actions, and a personal opinion.

4. Graphic Organizer

• Create a concept map or diagram showing the relationships between characters, settings, and events in the story.

5. Reading Comprehension Quiz

• Write and answer 15 questions about Chapters III–VII 

6. Vocabulary Glossary

• Create a glossary with 20 new words from the reading.

• Include the definition and an example sentence for each word.

7. Opinion Paragraph

• Write a paragraph of approximately 150 words explaining which character you consider the most important and why.

8. Oral Presentation

• Prepare a short presentation about a chapter or a character, demonstrating understanding of the reading.

This portfolio will demonstrate reading comprehension, literary analysis, organization of information, and critical thinking skills.
