In what ways has COVID-19 affected your learning?
I resorted to online learning during this time, which I have learned is not the most effective way for me to learn. I don’t get as much out of the experience as I would with in-school learning. Though I’m learning the same information as the in-schoolers, it’s more of a struggle to retain the information and stay on top of all my schoolwork when it’s all virtual. Therefore, not only has it affected my learning, but it’s also made me learn more about myself and reaffirm the fact that I definitely learn better in school.

The only way it’s really affected my learning is how I’m doing school online rather than in person. I definitely think online schooling is safer than in-school learning due to the pandemic.

COVID-19 has really affected me as a senior. We are unable to do labs in my science class, which is hard for me since I’m very much a visual learner and find labs very interesting and fun. On the other hand, having the option to be able to still attend class from home and be aware of what’s going on when I’m not feeling well has made it easier in my opinion. I feel like there are good and bad sides to this situation we are in, but I’m just trying to keep a positive attitude toward it all.
