Wayne Karess started as the network manager at Catasauqua in the summer of 2002. Before working for CASD, Karess was employed by the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit. He spent many years in the district keeping the increasingly important technology functional for students and staff alike.

Karess says that loved working with a great staff and group of students.

“I've had a variety of jobs over my career and none of them come close to the feeling of dedication that makes Catty such a great place to work!“

After he retires, he plans to learn some networking technologies that he never had the time to before and take time to relax and travel.

Karess encourages everyone to continue to learn and grow, especially in technology.

“In my time at Catty, I've seen incredible growth in the importance of technology,” said Karess. “I believe that is the future and would encourage everyone to learn all that they can about it. I would also like to thank everyone for their support and cooperation over the years.”
