Welcome Coach Tindell!
David Tindell is a dedicated educator and wrestling coach with over 25 years of experience shaping young athletes and building championship programs. A graduate of Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School (LFO), the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC), and Tennessee Tech, David has committed his career to the growth of student-athletes across multiple schools in the region.
Throughout his coaching career, David has led teams to remarkable success:
LFO (2001–2002): Guided the team to a Top Ten finish in the state.
Lakeview Middle (2002–2005): Achieved 2x NGAC Runner-Up finishes.
Heritage Middle (2005–2019): Coached the team to 2x NGAC Championships and 4x Runner-Up finishes.
Gordon Lee (2019–2024): Secured 1x NGAC Championship and 2x Runner-Up titles.
Ringgold Middle (2025–Present): Already led the team to 1x NGAC Championship.
David and his wife, Leanne Tindell, are proud parents of three children: Caroline, Trey, and Laney. His legacy continues not only in the accolades but in the countless lives he’s impacted through leadership, mentorship, and a passion for the sport of wrestling.
