What is the current recommendations regarding testing positive for Covid 19.
If you are sick , stay at home. Current recommendations from CDC are to take your 1st day of symptoms, that is day 0 , then add 5. That will be the amount of time you are out of school or work. ( ex. stuffy nose/sore throat, etc. started Friday, then that is day 0. Back to school on Thursday)
A student must be fever free without medication to return to school.
Do I have to quarantine if I have been exposed to Covid 19?
No, but recommendation is to monitor yourself for any symptoms and take action if you get sick.
Can it be a home test or does it have to be at a medical facility?
It can be either, it is your decision.
A Parent note should be sent in for any days missed, and you can email your teacher for any classwork.
