Catoosa County Schools: meals for Virtual Learners

Starting the week of August 31, 2020

Meals must be pre-ordered to ensure proper quantities.

A new request must be placed each week, for each student.

Meals can be ordered online, via the student’s school website. Orders must be placed before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, the week prior to meals requested. Meals will be available for pick-up only, at a student’s home school per the meal pickup times below.

Meals for five days (both breakfast and lunch) are offered for full-time virtual learners. Meals for three days (both breakfast and lunch) will be offered for hybrid students. Breakfast, lunch, or both may be selected. Meals for individual days cannot be selected, or omitted, orders are for the full quantities only.

“Virtual meals” are cold, packaged meals containing fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, and varying entrees. Some of the food items may require cooking at home. Please follow the instructions included with the meals for proper cooking and storage. Food items are subject to change, based on availability.

The standard cost applies, unless a student qualifies for a free or reduced price meal:

Breakfast Prices (Reduced .30 cents) Lunch Prices (Reduced is .40 cents)

Elementary $1.20 Elementary $2.65

Middle $1.30 Middle $2.75

High $1.30 High $2.75

Meals will be available at a student’s home school. Change for cash payment may not be available when meals are picked up, but change will be applied to the student’s meal account. Advance payment is preferred.

Meal Pick up Times:

  • Five day virtual learners pick up meals on Wednesdays, beginning Wednesday, September 2, between 9:00-10:00 a.m.

  • Monday/Tuesday hybrid students pick up meals on Wednesday mornings, beginning Wednesday, September 2, between 9:00-10:00 a.m.

  • Thursday/Friday hybrid students pick meals up on Monday mornings, beginning Monday, August 31, between 9:00-10:00 a.m.
