Our school is partnering with the Monique Burr Foundation for Children. Monique Burr Foundation and Child Safety Matters® is a comprehensive, evidence-based curriculum for elementary school students in grades K-5. The program educates and empowers children and all relevant adults with information and strategies to prevent, recognize, and respond appropriately to bullying, cyberbullying, all types of abuse, and digital abuse dangers. Battlefield Elementary will be using this curriculum to educate their students on how to keep themselves safe. The curriculum will be taught by Mrs. Wolfe the school counselor. Parents will receive information and materials as students participate in the lessons.
