Catonsville Elementary School 

On behalf of the Catonsville Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (CES PTA), we hope you had a fun, relaxing summer and are excited for an amazing school year!  

We would like to first thank you for the incredible support we received last year. Thanks to your fundraising and volunteer efforts, we were able to provide assemblies and after school clubs, host school-wide events and programming, supplement field trips, purchase recess equipment, fulfill teacher wish lists, organize family and community-building events, and so much more! Your participation greatly enhanced our students' learning experience! 

We are especially excited to share that our cafeteria mural project was completed over the summer and is ready for the grand reveal at this year’s Sneak-A-Peek! Every student was a part of this project, and the result is a true reflection of our vibrant school community.

This year, the CES PTA is focused on one simple but meaningful goal: bringing our community together. Our school is made up of families from many different backgrounds, cultures, traditions, and experiences, and we feel that's one of our greatest strengths. We want to create opportunities for everyone to connect, learn from one another, and celebrate what makes our school community unique.

Throughout the year, we'll be hosting events and activities that are welcoming, inclusive, and fun for all ages. Whether you can volunteer at one event, share an idea, attend a meeting, or simply join us for a family activity, we hope you'll find ways to get involved that work for your family.

Here are some easy ways to get involved:

• Attend PTA meetings to stay informed about school events.

• Help from home by assembling gifts or materials for events.

• Contribute a few dollars to support the CES PTA initiatives; every dollar benefits CES.

• Participate in fundraising events, such as restaurant nights (take-out counts!), the
  Fun Run, the Silent Auction, and Bingo.

• Volunteer your time in your child's classroom or elsewhere in the school.

• Donate goods or food for PTA events. 

• Run an after-school club on a topic you're passionate about.

• Assist with hospitality events and appreciation initiatives for our teachers.
