What an exciting time for us in the Diocese! Over 44 parishes sent their Parish Renewal Team members to an orientation which took place simultaneously on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at St. Luke's and St. Albert the Great's in Calgary, St. Martha's in Lethbridge and Holy Family Parish at Medicine Hat. The Renewal Leadership Team produced Christmas note cards in Advent 2023, aiming to assist parishioners in spreading care and love during the Advent and Christmas season. Ideas were shared on using the cards, such as leaving them at colleagues' desks, sharing them within school communities, including them in Christmas cards and gifts, or offering them to a stranger in need of cheer. The Pastoral staff were tasked with announcing the purpose of these cards during Mass, ensuring their distribution among parishioners through ushers and ministry leaders, and making them available for outreach ministries. 250 participants joined the Renewal Leadership Team online session in December 2023, “Welcome Home: How to make our parishes more inviting” with speakers Fr.
