From the Principal...

St Brigid’s Catholic School dares to be different. Our school continues to foster high levels of spirit, sense of community, belonging and energy.

The atmosphere of our school is inspired by the Gospel values of love, compassion, hope, service and hospitality. Our school has a strong culture that promotes bringing life to every member of the community. At St Brigid’s, our culture is upheld to ensure every person is supported to flourish and thrive. We are known as "heart people".

We share a strong partnership with each family and encourage parents to become involved in the school. Our home/school relationships are based upon ongoing communication, openness and trust.

Our learning and teaching programs provide a broad range of educational experiences which will enable children to develop spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, physically and socially. We are passionate to see children move beyond their potential. We have high aspirations and do not place a limit on what we can achieve together.

All staff share a collective responsibility, commitment and passion to ensure high levels of learning for all students. This includes everyone; teachers, leadership, administration and support staff at St Brigid’s. Staff have a collective belief that they can make a significant difference in the lives of our students. Every day we consider the impact we are having in terms of both our professional and student learning.

Our students are focussed on learning, being respectful, caring of others and having fun! Our teachers are student-focussed, cohesive, collaborative and professional. Our leaders are energetic, dynamic and innovative. Everyone is encouraged to be creative, imaginative, explorative and contemplative, gaining a strong sense of enjoyment, satisfaction and enjoyment in all we do.

Inspired by the faith, we pursue excellence and a brilliant future for every member of our community.
