Mrs. Smith attended Lenoir-Rhyne University where she received her undergraduate degree in Religious Studies and her Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling with a School Licensure. She has been a school counselor since 2012.
Mrs. Smith is married and has two sweet children. She enjoys spending time with family, baking cakes, playing guitar, singing at church, gardening, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Mrs. Ward attended North Carolina State University where she received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and graduate degree in School Counseling. She has previously taught 5th grade at Lynn Road Elementary in Raleigh, NC. Mrs. Ward has been a counselor at Fred T. Foard since 2014.
Mrs. Ward loves spending time with her family, playing with her dog Chloe, shopping, and cheering on the NCSU Wolfpack and Carolina Panthers at sporting events.

Last Names Q-Z - Cassie Miller
Mrs. Miller is beginning her 11th year as a School Counselor. She spent the past ten years in Burke county but is excited for a new school district and thrilled to be a Tiger. Mrs. Miller has two young boys and they love to go adventuring to the mountains and beach. Her husband graduated from Foard back in ‘07 so they are excited to become a Foard family for the next generation.
In her free time she likes to read, do crafts, and spend time in the sunshine. Her highlight of 2023 has been attending the Taylor Swift Concert in Atlanta!
