Asynchronous Learning Plan

    1. Read a book on your own

      • Draw a character from the story and use adjectives to describe them

      • Write a sentence to describe what happens at the beginning of the story, in the middle, and at the end

    2. Find two collections of items in your home (i.e. marbles, toy cars, plushies, paper clips etc.)

      • Count each collection and represent the number with tens sticks and ones cubes drawings. Compare to see which is greater, less or equal to the other.

    3. If you have internet access:

      • Work on Lexia for 30 minutes

      • Work on Zearn for 30 minutes

      • Ask your teachers for a screenshot of your Clever code If you need one!

    4. Write a journal entry about how you are feeling right now

      • What juicy words can you use to describe your emotions?

      • What details are causing that emotion?

    5. If there is snow:

      • Go outside and create something. Let your imagination run wild as you create something amazing in the snow. Maybe paint the snow with water and food coloring! Maybe build a snowman and give him a name! The opportunities are endless!
