Note from the Principals

Welcome back, CAL families!

Dear CAL English Station Elementary Family,

It has truly been a fabulous start to the school year.  I know it might sound like a cliche to say this, but frankly, it is the truth.  Not only has it been a positive beginning for our wonderful school, but also for me personally and professionally as this is my first year working for the Christian Academy School System (CASS). 

When the Lord made it clear to me that I was to follow His call and join the CASS early this summer, I knew there would be a learning curve.  While I have 30 years of experience in Christian schools, the CASS is not your average educational institution.  I am guessing you were already aware of that whether you are a parent, staff member, family member or just a long-time friend.  CASS is truly a one-of-a-kind, special place. 

Why is the CASS so special you ask?  The list of answers is long, but I will tell you that the commitment and excellence associated with a world-class Christian education can be seen everywhere.  From genuine spiritual formation, to outstanding academic resources and top-tier fine arts and athletics, the classrooms, hallways, and athletic facilities are bustling with a pursuit of excellence.  Most of all - we are a school system that places the Lord first while filling our “space” with wonderful families and staff members.  

It is that unapologetic pursuit of excellence that drew me into exploring CASS as an employee.  I have not been disappointed.  Thank you for supporting our school.  I look forward to what the Lord will do for the 2023-24 school year and beyond.  I can assure you that we will continue to develop students with a heart for God, who grow as Jesus did in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and men.
