Out With The Old, In With The New

Carver: The Crusaders are looking to perform well Friday night following new uniforms being distributed to the team. These uniforms have been in the works for years, and now it was made possible by hard work and dedication.
Coach Bosari and the Bog Red staff were able to purchase these uniforms after a long effort of fundraising and receiving donations. One popular fundraiser being the annual gold cards which provide coupons at numerous locations.
The old uniforms were bought more than ten years ago and were beginning to rip and lose color. Multiple players also said the jersey and pants were too big and uncomfortable to tuck in. Tyler Lennox, a sophomore quarterback said “it’s gonna feel and look great to have some of the same level equipment surrounding schools have. ”
Unfortunately the Crusaders didn’t have their new uniforms to show off in Case, and Fall River during their first 2 games. However, for the highly anticipated home opener on 9/20 against Saint John Paul ii the Crusaders will be wearing new all white uniforms.
Aiden Jordan, a senior running back said, “I like the tightness and how the jersey’s look like futuristic versions of the old ones. Getting these jerseys also gives the whole team a positive boost going into the next game”.
The Crusaders are looking for a back bounce season after the 2-3 fall 2 season. What better way to jump start that with new gear for the team.
A New Look In Carver

Carver: A new wave of excitement is flowing through the halls of Carver Middle High School (CMHS) as the Crusaders show off their new white on white uniform combos.
Senior Running Back and Cornerback Aiden Jordan said that the new jerseys “give the team a boost” heading into their Friday night match up vs St. John Paul II.
Head Coach Doug Bosari made the purchase of jerseys happen through individual donation efforts and team fundraisers like the apparel shop that was open for a few weeks.
The apparel shop was an online store that featured different pieces of apparel for all ages, men and women; all the money went directly back to the program.
The old jerseys were by many accounts worn out and needed to be replaced.
“It's nice to have new jerseys for my senior year because my old jersey was ripped,” said Senior Wide Receiver and Cornerback Zach Ieronimo.
