MAKE A PLAN

Next you’ll want to plan out how to execute the campaign in your region.

  1. Set goals / KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)

What does success look like? Be specific so you can track your progress later.

  1. Research potential partners

Look for groups that share your values and objectives. Organizations that serve seniors are the most obvious choice, but get creative—support can come from places you might not expect (e.g. local businesses)

  1. Research local media

Make a list of local media outlets and their contact information. Need help? CARP National can search for lists of regional media, if you give us at least 3 business days’ warning.

  1. Compile your contact list

Include all of your stakeholders who you’ll want to keep updated on your campaign progress.

  1. Create a project plan, or roadmap, including timing and milestones.

Map your identified goals onto your plan and share with your network for feedback.

From here, you can move to Step 4
