LOOK
BACKWARDS

So you can move forwards

The Good news is, you’ve reached the end of Phase 1 of your campaign!

The Bad news is; an advocate’s work never ends.

Your campaign is like a living thing—it takes on a life of its own as you carry it forward, adjusting course as needed.

Because the work is ongoing, it’s critical to look back at all you’ve done (and that includes thanking everyone involved again for their contributions).

As you move forward, implementing the changes you identified in Step 9, take an opportunity to look backward as well. You’ll probably be shocked at how far you’ve come.

Evaluate the success of your campaign and its implication on your advocacy priorities going forward. Start thinking about everything you’ve learned and how you can put it into practice as you develop your future advocacy agenda.
