Hello!

My name is Jill Armstrong. I have been teaching for over 30 years in several fun places. We settled down in Old Carlsbad in 2002 and at the time I was teaching in Oceanside. I wanted to work in the school system my own kids attend. Lucky me! I landed a job at Magnolia in 2007. I started as the PE teacher, then taught 1st grade for 2 years and 4th grade for 1 year. This will be my 6th year teaching 3rd grade and I absolutely love it! 

When I am not teaching, I am hanging out with my family, running, hiking and playing with friends. I have a wonderful family! My sweet husband is Jim and we have three amazing daughters, Peyton (22), Paige (20) and Delaney (18). Peyton is a senior at SDSU and is an Architectural Designer. Paige is a junior at Cal Poly SLO and studies Nutrition. Delaney will be a freshman at CP SLO as well and will be studying Agriculture Engineering. (Psst! I attended SLO, too, so you know I am thrilled!) We are empty nesters!! So I will have a lot of time to dote on my awesome third graders! I am looking forward to a year of discovering and having daily learning adventures! I am a very open and commutative person so call, email and text me anytime.
