Mrs. Rivera

Hello!

My name is Katie Rivera. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved to sunny San Diego to get my teaching credential and Masters in Education at SDSU. I have been teaching for 12 years and have been with Carlsbad Unified for 6 years. This will be my second year at Magnolia and I am thrilled to be teaching 2nd grade again! 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and two dogs, going to the beach, and occasionally Disneyland. Both of my kids go to Magnolia. Noah is in 4th grade and Emma started Kindergarten this year.

I am looking forward to a great year!
