I am Full Professor of Demography at the Department of Economics and Statistics “Cognetti de Martiis” at the University of Turin, where I also serve as Vice-Director for Research.

My research focuses on family dynamics, including couples’ decisions regarding labor supply and fertility, educational choices, time use and leisure, the consequences of family separation and re-partnering, and gender equality.

I am a Fellow of the Collegio Carlo Alberto and Director of the Impact Evaluation Unit, where we conduct impact evaluations of policies and interventions for the third sector, foundations, and private organizations. I am currently developing Imp-active, a platform designed to make pre–post impact evaluation of third-sector interventions accessible at very low cost.

In addition, I serve as President of the Fondazione Teatro Ragazzi e Giovani, an experience that allows me to put into practice many of the issues I have studied in my academic work over the years.
