Becoming our best, by doing our best, together
Failte. It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Caritas College, Ballyfermot and I hope you enjoy exploring our school and all it has to offer.
Founded by the Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul in 1967, Caritas College has a proud tradition of educating the young ladies of Ballyfermot and the surrounding areas over the last 50 years. We are now part of CEIST - Catholic Education, an Irish Schools Trust and although much has changed in the last 50 years, Caritas College has always been a vibrant school community which is responsive to the changing needs of our students. Achieving quality in teaching and learning is integral to all we do.
As a CEIST school Caritas College is open and accessible to all students. We promote a positive attitude and a culture of good relationships where people thrive and grow. We provide a safe and ordered environment and value co-operation, collaboration and partnership between home, school, community, parish and diocese.
Here in Caritas we provide a holistic education for our students as we prepare them for life after school. We want our students to take a full and active part in society and have a strong focus on leadership within the school community.
Our school motto is
‘Becoming our best, by doing our best, together’
Here in Caritas College we work hard to ensure that each of our students achieves their best.
We hope you enjoy exploring our website.
Tara Brady, Principal
