carcroft learning expeditions
At Carcroft, we want our children to access a broad and balanced curriculum which motivates them to aspire, believe and achieve. We want our children to gain a deep understanding of the world around them and to actively contribute to its improvement. In order to achieve this, our curriculum is organised into learning expeditions.

What is a learning expedition?
What is a learning expedition?
Learning expeditions are academically rigorous, standards-based, cross-subject projects that involve research, problem-solving, community engagement and result in students creating a product as close to a professional quality as possible. Each expedition is mapped against the National Curriculum standards to ensure coverage, depth and progression.
