Our department would not be able to function without the support from our students and parents. We are always working to update our materials and equipment so that students can create their best work!
MRS. AVERY ARMAN
(pronounced ‘Are-MEN’)
I am beyond thrilled to be joining San Juan Hills High School as the Painting, Drawing & Ceramics teacher. I am so passionate about the benefits of Art education, and how Art intersects with nearly every aspect of our daily lives. My desire as a teacher is to be able to create a classroom environment that draws upon students' interests, connects to prior knowledge and strengths, and invites students to explore and take risks in their learning. I grew up in Laguna Hills and then headed to the University of San Diego where I received my Visual Arts degree and Business Marketing degree. After working in marketing for a few years I attended UCI and obtained my Art Teaching Credential and a Master of Arts in Teaching. I completed my student teaching at Ladera Ranch Middle School with Mrs. Renee Weitzel before I was hired at Corona del Mar Middle and High School where I taught Ceramics. The opportunity to join the Stallion team in my now hometown of San Juan Capistrano is a dream come true.
