Get organised:
Make sure you have a clear space to do your revision; desk, table and make sure the space is quiet. You should be away from the tv, social media, mobile phones etc.
Have all resources ready to revise from, (e.g. pens, paper, exercise books) so you don't have to leave to get organised midway through your revision.
Speak to your teachers and listen to what is being covered . It will ensure you know what you need to learn and what is going to be covered in the assessment.
Design a revision timetable that includes revision for all subjects in the weeks before your assessments. This is important to ensure you don’t just focus on the subjects you like.
Take regular breaks so that it doesn’t become too much.
Make material that is clear and easy to learn from and works for you. You can consider revision tools like flashcards, mind maps or posters. Please make sure you use resources provided by your teachers on this revision site.
Sleep well, eat well and exercise. This will help you stay focus, positive, calm and ready for the assessment.
