General Module/Access Troubleshooting and FAQ's
The link to the module classroom does not work, OR the instructor hasn't arrived.
Refresh the dashboard, especially if you've had it open on your tabs for a bit. If there is a change to the link, it will take a few minutes to update. For a MISSING INSTRUCTOR OR BAD LINK THE DAY OF CLASS, CLICK HERE.
If you are not being let into the class (held in the waiting room) and it is AFTER the start time, register for another offering. Instructors are permitted to deny entry to late students once they've begun teaching. Also, PLEASE ensure you have accounted for Time Zone differences. We list our modules in EASTERN time.
Why isn't anyone answering me?
We are usually actively handling the issue if you have submitted an access issue using the above form. We may not reply directly to you, but pay attention to updated emails.
We are fellow CAP Volunteers, and though we try to handle issues in a timely fashion, we cannot be available 24/7/365. Issues and questions are answered in order of urgency.
How do I get in touch with my Instructor?
If the instructor provides direct contact information, feel free to use it. Instructors will provide instructions for assignment submission DURING THE MODULE. If you miss these instructions, you MUST ask before the session closes for it to be repeated. Inquiries for instructor contact or assignment submission AFTER the module will be replied to at the discretion of the instructor.
Why didn't I get credit?
Credit for a module is given based on completion of desired learning objectives, participation, and completion of ALL pre and post course work in a timely manner. Merely signing into the module is not adequate to be given credit
It is the instructor's discretion to assign credit based on the student meeting the requirements of the module.
If you were not registered, you WILL NOT receive credit.
Instructors have up to one week after the post-course work is due to post module credit. DO NOT request grading/credit information until a full 7 days has passed.
Also, be sure you are looking in eServices Professional Levels and NOT Axis. Axis only records things completed using Axis and our modules will not appear there.
You will also NOT be given credit (because you can't) for modules in any level beyond your current level. You need to be completed with the previous level to get credit for modules beyond that level.
To reach an instructor about an assignment or credit, fill out the form below and the instructor will be notified. Expect seven days for resolution/response.
