"caring - our way of life"
What is Key Club?
Key Club is the largest high school service organization in the world, with over a quarter million members in 5,000 clubs in 24 countries. Key Club helps its members cultivate their leadership skills, develop friendships, and perform service in their communities. Key clubbers demonstrate a passion for helping others and carry their leadership skills with them for the rest of their lives.
Key Club stands for "Kiwanis Empowering Youth."
Kiwanis is an international service based group formed to help charitable organization.
Our goal and purpose is to help the community and giveback to those around us. Many of us have a deep connection with various non-profit organizations that we work with. If you haven’t discovered a love for helping others, then you can still join. After joining Key Club, members learn a new sense of devotion, hard work, and both teamwork and leadership skills. These skills are applicable and important for a person’s life outside of high school.
We have had the honor of receiving the Philanthropy Award and being ranked #6 in the Texas–Oklahoma district during the 2016-2017 school year!
What is The Philanthropy Award?
We were nominated by Children's Miracle Network for the Philanthropy Award. This award is a great honor and privileged bestowed upon groups that exempt hard work and dedication to helping others.
How Were We Ranked #6?
We were ranked #6 in the Texas-Oklahoma district at your yearly convention in Dallas. We compete with nearly 300 other schools, so being ranked in the top 10 is a great honor.
