Mrs. Tamara Hinders

8th Grade English Language Arts and Reading

Mrs. Hinders graduated from Odessa High School. She went on to attend West Texas State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Mrs. Hinders earned her Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction at West Texas A&M University. Mrs. Hinders’ teaching certificates include EC-4 Generalist, EC-12 Special Education, 4-8 English Language Arts and Reading, and EC-12 English as a Second Language. She began teaching English Language Arts for Canyon ISD in 2007, and she also served one year as a Differentiated Learning Coach.

Mrs. Hinders' interests include reading, singing, baking, cake decorating, gardening, spoiling her Corgis, Fiona and Rhiannon, and spending time with her husband, daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren.
